My summer in the USA
Dashap
Монтана 2016
The idea of spending summer in USA came to me couple years ago and for a while i was trying to figure out how to make it happen. Some friends told me about the program Work and Travel and i decided to take a chance and came to Global Vision, after few months of making papers, visas, having interview I finally was standing in the airport facing my flight to USA.
I definitely can say that the summer I spent in USA was definitely the best summer I've ever had in my life so far.
I couldn't be more grateful for that chance/luck that brought me to the place where I spent almost 4 months- Glacier National Park in Montana. A lot of my friends couldn't understand why I picked that place(very north of the country, basically in the middle of nowhere, no big cities around) but it ended up the best and the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
I lived in a very remote area, my location was not even a hotel but bunch of cabins surrounded by beautiful mountains. That was the place I've never expected to see going to America.
I had nice job (I was working in a camp store) that was fun and easy, also as a extra hours (or overtime) i was working as a assistant in the restaurant and after a month working there was promoted to the server position.
But the best part of this trip was definitely my "time off" which I spent with my friends whom I met there,we had a lot international employees from Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Slovakia, Bulgaria. All our spare time we were hiking around, climbing the mountains, going on the road trips to catch some concerts.
I met wonderful people whom weren't just my friends they definitely became my family.
Another really nice part of my trip was the time I spent traveling around the country after I was done with my work, I visited such places as San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas, Portland, New York.
Thanx work and travel I could do all this, definitely had the time of my life.
