Position description: Food Service Team Member Responsible for providing guests with excellent service and quality food in a fast, safe and friendly manner. Communicate with Guests and other employees effectively. Properly operate cash register in accordance with all cash handling procedures. Required to pour sodas, prepare and serve food. Ensure clean and sanitary work area at all times including, but not limited to: sweeping, wiping tables, picking up and disposing of trash. If required to cook you must be able to properly serve and cook any needed food. Foresee changes in product need and levels during peak and slow times. Work in an orderly and timely fashion when cooking for guests and/or catered events. Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment at all times. Must maintain proper attendance and promptness. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification: must have excellent cash handling and customer service skills. Must possess oral and written English skills and must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members effectively. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions. You will also work closely with many different types of machinery. Extreme caution needs to be used at all times. Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Attention to detail. All job offers contingent on passing a criminal, drug, alcohol and social security background check. Must be able to walk or stand for up to six hours a shift. Requires occasional kneeling and bending. Requires occasional reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling. Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 30 pounds. Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck.
Host company trainings: hands on training with supervisor or team leader. Food Service trains for all positions and the training period varies depending on the food location. It is a minimum of 4 hrs and is paid for.
Work schedule: ability to work weekends and holidays is required. Shifts are 6-8 hours; 9:00 am - 6:00 pm or 11:am - 8:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm; hours are subject to change due to weather and personnel.
Weekly accommodation cost/rent per student: $90 - $150 per week per person depending on the room size. Housing deposit: 100 USD.
